Time
Line, Ralph Towner's newest solo album, was recorded in September
2005 in a unique atmosphere that was quite different from his previous
solo offerings. The Austrian mountain chapel of St. Gerold was the recording
location, and Towner's classical and 12-string guitars sing beautifully
in this spacious acoustic setting. Towner, who began recording for ECM
in 1972, views Time Line as "an album that's really about
my path with the guitar, aspects of this long journey that is still developing,
looking backwards and forwards.

John's guitar work and Yes, they harmonize the vox. A truly original mix.
